I was looking through Digg and found the Dance Messenger. It’s basically this small circuit board that was made to be attached to your shoe, and when you’re foot becomes spastic, the lights make up a word. I don’t know if that makes any sense.
So, in the spirit of the Dance Messenger, I set out to find a shoe that, if you chose to, would be appropriate for taping and gluing circuit boards to. In searching for the perfect shoe, I went to Shoes.com because shoes there are generally a little cheaper… sometimes.
Anyway, I started out looking at the athletic section, but since I hated almost all of the ones on the first page, I decided to stop wasting my time.
Eventually, I found the Soda brand. Soda has shoes for Miss. Plain Jane at 17 dollars and I wish I was with Keds at 20 dollars. I’m not sure how well these shoes will stay on when dramatically shaken, but the important part is that they’re cheap. You can tape and glue what ever you want to them, and it’ll only cost you 20 dollars or less. Fantastic!
ps. I put the picture of Glory up because I like it and because it’s only 20 dollars, but I don’t wish that someone would attach a circuit board to it.
