For fourth of July day, I went to a cook out that had some great food with some people I knew and a bunch I didn’t know. Then I left for a fireworks party which ended extremely early. Actually, it didn’t end that early. I just got there really late. So, then I went to this guys house with some friends and some acquaintances and watched them play video games and get into a small but exciting fight/argument.
So, that’s what I did yesterday. This morning I woke up to drive home from my girl friends house and found that I didn’t have my flip flops anymore. Instead, I had these brown flip flops that were posing as mine. I guess I accidentally switched with someone else last night.
Normally I would be a little grossed out by the thought of my feet in someone else’s flip flops, but this brown flip flops were very new, and they didn’t smell bad, so I guess it wasn’t that gross.
Anyway, the fact is that I unknowingly stole somebody’s flip flops, and I can’t return them because it would be a waste of my time. Not only that but I’ve also grown to like them- they’re very simple.
So, I’m sorry to the owner of the brown flip flops- unfortunately, you will not be getting them back.
