I went to a big mall in Nashville today, and I noticed a trend among the nicely lit stores- Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, Wet Seal, etc. In the window or on the back wall, there’s always a display of pretty shoes with a few spotlights on them, and it seems to me that the trend is open toed wedges.

I love it when they display those size 6 shoes in a row from darkest to brightest or in a rainbow form. That’s their secret. They’ve been tricking us forever, and it always works- I have to stop at look.

Some of them looked like these cute wedges by Charles and some were more strappy like these from Laundry by Shelli Segal. Either way, the common factor was that they were open toed wedges with bright colors. This is a very cute trend so don’t miss out!
