It seems like Chucks are reserved for people who either try really hard to be cool or they’re just naturally cool. We label these people ‘trendy’ or ‘punk’. It’s kind of a shame, but hey, it works. I think the ‘punk’ label is slowly fading out, but of course theres always stragglers. On the other hand, the ‘cool and trendy’ is here to stay. I’ll usually see a group of Chuck wearers on my way to class, and to me they’re either appealing or repulsive.
The only thing cooler than chucks: dirty chucks.

No. You HAVE to scuff them up; go run through the lawn, take a walk kicking hte pavement with the tips of your toes. Step in some gum. Make them look WORN.
