First Impressions Are Almost Always Wrong

Seychelles: Go With The Flow

I’ve pretty much been a hermit all day today. The only place I went to was the gym, and you know there’s never any interesting shoes there… not that I would have it any different.

As expected, I didn’t see anything new today… then again the day’s not over yet. But, I will tell you about these great teal sandals I saw last night. This was after my Walmart outing. I went to Panera Bread for my favorite Tuscan Chicken Sandwich, and of course, it was gone. Off the menu. Ugh! That annoys me so much when my favorite places decide they know what’s best and take the one thing I love off the menu. I should just never have favorites.

Anyway, after I got my ‘New’ sandwich and a shiny apple, I went to sit where all the cool people with their laptops sit. There was this brown haired woman with a glittery purse and a plain, white dress with a teal sash wearing these sandals. It’s weird because I only noticed her because of her purse. It wasn’t until much later that I thought to look for her shoes.

Well, at first, I didn’t care much for these sandals. They reminded me of those 2 and a half inch high flip-flops from 4th grade. You know what I’m talking about? The kind you can get at Old Navy. Well, that was mostly the reason I didn’t care for this womans shoes.

However, when I kept looking at them and the rest of her outfit, I started liking them more and more. I just thought that she must have been at least a little bit excited when she found a teal sash that matched exactly with her shoes… I know I would have been.

So, yes, I ended up liking them… more than I wish I did. That just goes to prove that first impressions are almost always wrong and second impressions are almost always right.
