Today my sister came home for her weekly visits, and she brought me a silky robe with embroidery on it- it looks a lot like these cute Betsey Johnson flats except in the blue color. She wanted me to make it into a dress for her, so of course I will. She also told me that a lot of her friends saw that two dresses I made on my myspace and loved them, and they wanted to know if I would make one for them. I’m extremely flattered.
And for the past couple of days I’ve been looking for a fabric store around my town and even the next town over. So far, there’s been no luck. I’ve been to Walmart a couple of times hoping that I’ll find something I love, but I’m always disappointed. I mean, I like Walmart because it gives me a lot of choices in make-up and shampoo and cheap party supplies, but when it comes to clothes and fabrics (and shoes), just forget it. You’d be better off being mugged… not really.
Anyway, I was looking through fabrics online and found a lot of flowery designs. I don’t normally like flowery designs because it reminds me of curtains and peoples grandmothers; However, I found some nice anti-grandmother-curtain flower designs, and I ended up liking them a lot.
This, of course, inspired me to find shoes with a flower design on it. I tried Zappos, but Zappos has so many shoes, and I honestly just didn’t feel like looking through their collection…. again. So I tried Shoes.com, and the first search I go to, I find these fabulous Guess heels.
I really love them. I could still see this pattern in curtains and maybe a grandmothers bathroom, but whatever- they’re sexy. And if you hate them, you can always fall back on the first Carrie from Guess which are also great, but not as great in my opinion.

Have them. Love them. Wish I bought 100 more pairs of them. fun sexy shoe..and on top of that they are white..how often do you find white pumps that don’t look like you just stepped out of stripclub?
Wow. Those are sweet. I can see wearing them at a summertime dress-up dinner party.
